A week on the liveaboard of the Carpe Diem in the south of the Maldives is over and I am richly gifted with countless breathtaking moments under water. If you love sharks as much as I do then this tour is definitely worth it! About the Carpe Diem itself: The boat and especially the cabins (including the ones at the lower deck) are absolutely beautiful, always clean and very spacious. The cuisine is excellent - even for vegetarians (and I value good food!). The dinghy is great too, and the entire dive process went smoothly with only one small exception where the engine was damaged, which was quickly repaired with a lot of effort, so that we were able to do all 3 dives despite the problem! Wow! All crew members are so on point, so friendly and helpful, super organized and always with a smile on their faces. I loved that! The best for last: the dive guides! I can only speak of Munkko, because he was ours: I have never had such an extremely funny, humorous, open-hearted, hard-working and competent dive guide as him!!! Really! He was definitely born to bring joy to people's life and make them smile ???? THANK YOU Munkko, thank you Carpe Diem for this unforgettable trip! As you can assume: I can recommend it a 100 percent!
