So glad we ran across Amp Surf advertisement and decide to stick with them. It's a small family owned business, ran by professional surfers(over 30 years). Our instructor, Kai, gave the 3 of us pretty much a private lesson for 1 and 1/2 hours. He was super personable. very helpful and gave each one of us so many useful tips and tricks. Ala Moana beach that they use, is less crowded than Waikiki, and waves are just as great for beginners, like us.(only our 2nd class) If we had more time in Oahu, we would totally go with another lesson with Amp Surf Hawaii! ♂️ - via
