Activities
Went for a total of three dives (1 with Chris and 2 with Pyng).
The good:
1. Dive shop staff are knowledgeable and pleasant.
2. Equipment and boat were in good condition and well taken care of.
The bad:
1. The full length of the house reef had more diversity and was more pleasant to snorkel than dive. The dive sites were not impressive.
2. The dive guides are excellent divers but not very good guides. They missed special marine life encounters not because they were difficult to spot but because their agenda did not allow time for real exploration of the nooks and crannies.
3. After our first dive with Chris, he offered that we could dive on our own when we go next time. That promise was not kept and the guide (Pyng) stubbornly refused to let us dive on our own even when there was no risk of strong currents or getting lost. Needless to say, we didn’t enjoy those dives. - via
