I’m a hang glider pilot from Atlanta, GA and Paradise Airsports has been my fall - winter retreat for several years now. Besides the obvious and must do (imho) flying activities the place has to offer some lodging, great camping (RV, tent) around the lake, where some kayaking, rc boat racing and swimming can be done. Plenty of room for large parties of people. Family friendly. As far as other activities, I can recommend biking around Lake Apopka (30 min away), good mountain biking trails (Santos, Withlacoochie State Forest, 30-45 min away) and, of course, my favorite Clermont, Fl downtown (10 min away) that has a ton of quality time to offer (cafes, breweries, various foods, lake view etc..).
