WOW! Fell in love with the beauty of Amed through this school. Let me put it this way. I came to Amed to do my open water, left to the Gilis and then came BACK to do my Advanced I loved it so much. First, coordinating my dates for my open water course with John was super easy. I was sort of in limbo when I could start because I was waiting around in Canggu for my passport after extending my visa but John was really flexible! He also gave me some great recommendations for dive spots in Thailand as that is my next stop after Bali! Second, the school is very well located to some lovely homestays (I stayed at Dharma) and you start your diving walking in via the shore in front. Nice equipments and wetsuits. Lovely staff - they provide tea, coffee and snacks! Third, the friendliest and most patient instructors. I had Wayan for both my open and advanced and he has now sparked the joy of diving for me. I was a little nervous the first dive and he could sense immediately and made sure I was comfortable every second. With his help, each dive I felt more and more confident and by finishing my AOW it felt like I was diving with a long time friend I felt so relaxed under water. All of the instructors I chatted with while hanging out at the shop gave me that vibe. I definitely encourage people to do their AOW in the same location/school if you plan to do the earliest certifications back to back. The trust and comfort with an instructor with so little dives still was just really important to me. Thank you so much Ecodive for one of the highlights of my trip to Bali! - via Google
