Activities
We thoroughly enjoyed our Mount Batur early morning trek.
Kaus was extremely capable and we discussed many local topics as we ascended.
The climb takes around two hours and can be challenging in parts.
I recommend a reasonable level of fitness to fully enjoy the trip.
We arrived in darkness around 5am. Kaus assisted us with placing eggs in their shells in a little hole in the rocks. These were soon cooked and we then enjoyed egg sandwiches, great hot Bali coffee and bananas for dessert.
The sun slowly rose to the point where we all imbued with a wonderful light experience of
which we had not seen before. Exhilarating!
The trip down was easy and gave us a chance to further discuss local topics with Kaus.
In summary. Excellent value for money.
Great to interact with the local Balinese and enjoy their hospitality.
Thanks again Kaus for your knowledge and intelligent conversation. Your hard work and dedication to your people is most admirable.
