Mt Batur trek is moderately difficult and a great experience. You start very early (around 2am from hotel) and do a night trek with lights (provided by guide). The trek has a bit of slippery patches due to sandstones so descend slowly (you'll slip a few times). The view from above is amazing!!! You see the giant Mt Agung and sunrise from behind. This is a guided trek as it will be challenging to self navigate as there are many starting points. This trek gets very crowded in peak season and the jeeps and bikes might spoil your trek as they share some part of the trail. There are options to go with Bike which covers 90% of the trek or go with jeep which covers 50% of the trek (does not cover tough part though). - via google
