I spent 4 nights 5 Days on board Ocean Quest. When I first entered my room that I was staying in, the bathroom wasn't clean and the bed wasn't made from the last person who stayed in the room. After paying for a sole occupancy room they put another gentlemen in the room with me. These issues where rectified by the team on the same day which I appreciated but still unimpressed about the whole situation. I then was told as I take prescription medication I had to do a guided dive (I had a full SUPMS Diving Medical Clearance which staff took a photo of). Being an Advanced certified diver who has gone unguided before I was very disappointed. Although there was a Dive Master, and Rescue diver in the same situation as I was. Thankfully the team grouped us up together and we got to enjoy the dives to the level we where qualified and comfortable for. Unfortunately my stay was longer then the group I was diving with, so for the rest of my stay I was with divers that where less comfortable in the water, and not experienced making it much less enjoyable for myself. It should have been disclosed on the website about this rule. Lastly the boat was advertised that it has wifi on board. Long story short no it doesn't. This wasn't a big bother for me, I did tell my family I would be in contact with them every day (thinking I would have wifi) but it made it a bit difficult without it. Again not a big issue for me, just don't think you should advertise wifi when you do not provide it. Issues aside, the Ocean Quest was spacious and roomy. Staff was helpful and we could tell they loved there job. Dive Sites where amazing and the food provided was also nice. Wasn't a big fan of their regulator and BCD (just personal preference), and dive computer stuffed up resulting in having to do a longer safety stop...definitely recommend bringing your own equipment.
Issues a side I really enjoyed the time I spent with Divers Den, I understand that the crew have a lot of people to look after and know that sometimes things fall through the cracks. I will definitely give these guys another chance early next year.
