My sons 18th birthday was to jump out of a plane. We live out west and his grandma lives in Kingscliff.
We traveled 8hrs to visit her for his birthday and for this jump which was organized for over 4 months. We where booked for 9am
The day before we get a call to push us back to 10am expecting delays. On the day of the jump we get a text to come in early asap. So all good we get there as soon as we could 9.50am
He came with his girlfriend. , myself, his dad and 80yr old grandma to watch.
But the weather turned bad. We understand safety is first. And then he could not jump. So we where told to wait if the weather changed we waited for about 40 minutes . But it was so hot for her (grandma) we decided it best to go. We really appreciate there safety rules and regulations . But 1 of the staff was so RUDE when we said we had to leave. As we did have a long drive. And grandma was Not coping in the heat. This one staff member said
She said "you just got here".this decision was not made lightly. Waiting over 2hrs My mother is 80 and sitting around we just could not do that. we had a long drive to get home and all we wanted was a refund or a credit. She sat there face screwed up shaking her head with anger.
She was rude the other ladies where lovely. But if this girl represents this company I would be ashamed. As everyone else was wonderful. - via
