The food and bars at secret beach are very good. The parking is relatively easy and the beaches are clean and there is a lot to do.
The drive there from San Pedro gets worse every time we visit. Huge dump trucks take up the road and blow dirt and dust all over you as you are riding and bouncing horribly on your small golf cart. Also the road continues to be terrible for the last miles to get there.
They need to do something about the trucks and construction traffic or tourists will stop making the drive. - via
We reserved with Robbie several months in advance and he and his staff were excellent to work with and planned ahead for us. Our teenage kids finished their open water certification with Robbie's staff (special callout to Felipe, Ryan, and Leonard). Felipe was patient and thorough explaining skills and concepts to our kids to complete their training.
Also the level of service and prep for the gear we used was outstanding and well thought out (masks, BCD's, wetsuits, fins, etc). Robbie made the experience easy and enjoyable and also were great at communicating with some weather delays we had.
Also if you are staying at the Phoenix, it doesn't get more convenient. - via
