Most important we would say the staff were wonderful and made the trip. We were able to do the important things like snorkeling and hike to the waterfalls on the property. Some things we didn't expect were the rooms to be very less modern and to have to deal with bugs constantly. The air-conditioning was very restricted and only present in the sleeping area. Also the rooms has no insulation and even larg gaps between the roof and walls in some places allowing moths and roaches into the burs. We were moved into a villa due to availability for our last night, which was a tiny bit more insulated but with the same amount of ac, but smelt strongly of milduew to the point of causing some respiratory issues and leaving my cpap stinking. The villa normally would cost another 1k us per day. Another note is that the pools are nice that you have your own, however they are not well maintained. Our first pool was nice yet small. It was good on the first couple days but ran into a troph full of alge and the clorean seemd gone by the 3rd day. Our 2nd pool was large but we could not even see the bottom it was so mercy and was 1/3 empty the next day as well as had mosquitoes nesting in it the whole time making the whole bug situation even worse! The food was great and the drinks were also amazing if you don't mind spraying bug spray all o er you to repell the onslaught of mosquitoes due to everything being outside. The spa was also very nice and at a well price point my wife says. If you are not looking for creature comforts and want a unique experience this could be good. The other resorts seem to also offer very similar experiences just a different building. For the price we would never go back knowing we could be much more comfortable and have more fun in other places around the world that I have been for work. 1k us per night or even more, Tony could reinvest more into the inferstructure and make this place more comfortable for westerners not used to being eaten alive by bugs! - via Google
