We stayed at this Hotel just after New Year, every think seamed to be lovely and great, until my husband start to feel sick night after night at this hotel. We couldn’t understand why until we checked the due date of every drink in the room mini bar. He had drink from the mini bar every day and we finally find out that 90% of the drinks there were out of date over 6 months. This is inadmissible, imagine how long the room minibar haven’t been checked?? At our last night stay when we finally understand why he was sick, and that night was the worse, I went to down to explaining the situation to reception, the receptionist just said “we are sorry… don’t let him drink anything else from the mini bar… can you send me the photos… my manager isn’t working today she will get in contact with you tomorrow…”. Well this was a hygiene and heath issue so you could die that the manager will still contact you when she is back, not even ask if we needed help, a doctor or simply removing everything from the room etc nothing to make our stay a little bit better, this was ridiculous, but I was so worried about him and us getting a flight the next morning I couldn’t even spend my energy complaint. The next day, after we checkout and landed in NYC we get a call saying we will be refunded and after all we were too tired and we didn’t wanted to make it even more difficult as my husband was still pretty bad we accepted. Now, a month later and no refund, no contact number to get in touch with KYAK, no email confirmation of the refund after asking for it hundreds times. We are so disappointed and upset that we can’t see us using KYAK ever again. There unprofessional behaviour made our stay in Miami a nightmare and they didn’t do the minimum to help us. Really really bad service, no words for the unprofessional way everything was handled, no care showed, like if it was our fault that they don’t check the mini bar??? No words for how everything turned out after jeopardising our stay in MIAMI that we planned for ages with stay and flights that we couldn’t even enjoy! Not coming back at 300%! - via google
