The front desk is cheerful and what you want at check in- smiles, pump you up for your trip, laughs and full of tips of fun.
The restaurant and Al's is full of equally amazing staff and the food is great. Tip: start each day with any smoothie from Al's menu + the protein boost and you will not be disappointed!
Rooms are comfortable and exactly what you want for an island vacation. The jungle rooms looked very nice but we did beachfront which was worth the upcharge.
Now to activities...
Rick runs a tight, well organized "ship" (and dock) the equipment and boats are well maintained and this crew really shines. Rayo was the best dive instructor I could have asked for to get my PADI certification and Koala took my husband out (he's been diving for 25+years) and they were wonderful. For our last dive we were with Rayo and Dixon and they and above and beyond knowledgeable-ask for these sea gurus!
We booked a flats fishing charter to the lee side which was beautiful and caught 15 fish, mostly bonefish. Also did the reef fishing charter and caught snapper, a baby shark, large permit and went trolling for conch with Jaico and Will (also amazing guides!). Upon arrival back to the dock, they fileted and prepped the conch and snapper so shore could cook it for us. BEST MEAL OF THE TRIP!
We will be back and highly recommend to any and everyone.
Oh...and the spa? Get the seashell massge. - via
