Wonderful day at Angthong Marine Park. We took the speed boat trip, we were lucky enough to have a small group of 17 people (maximum capacity 40 people). Our guide was friendly and humorous and did everything he could to avoid other tour groups. They are serious and speak English very well, I recommend! – via
We went on a trip to Ang Thong Marine Park and I highly reccomend it to anyone. We went there with our 3 year old daughter. Everything was well organised, everyone nice and helpful. The trip itself – spectacular views, not a moment to get bored, as there were few activities.
We’ll definetely go with them for other tours. – via
We had an amazing experience diving at Sail Rock with dive instructor Craig. He was extremely knowledgeable and we felt very safe and secure diving with him. He’s awesome! It was a beautiful dive, great visibility! I liked that we had a very small dive group, and the dive boat was quite nice as well. – via
DO NOT BOOK: BEWARE
Traumatic experience. Unaware to us, this company overbooked our jetski sunset tour, kept us waiting near an hour while they sorted extra jetskis from another company (3 of which were faulty) before our tour even started.
On the way over to the destination island, 2 jetskis cut out at separate times needing to be towed back and swapped – delaying everyone else by approx 45 mins until they returned to the group (leaving us alone in the ocean waiting).
Once on the island, there was a sense of urgency from our tour guide as it was getting dark and we still had a long way to travel back to the main island launching place. Upon leaving, the tour guide aggressively signalled to us to go back as fast as we could in order to avoid being out in the ocean on a jetski (with no lights) at night. Unbeknown to the rest of the group, one of the last jetskis to leave the destination island cut out minutes after leaving. With the group being pressured to return as fast as they could to the main island, and the tour guide already left, everyone was unaware that we left someone behind on a broken jetski.
Once everyone had arrived at the launching point, the guides started packing up and putting jetskis on trailers – they didn’t even know that there were 2 people (one jetski) missing. After about 20-30mins of pleading with the tour guides, they agreed to go out looking for the couple that hadn’t returned.
The tour guides returned to our group after approximately 20-30mins with a shoulder shrug – as if to say “I don’t know where they are. ” Now completely dark, we had to beg another 2 employees that were helping pack up, to go looking for them – we were obviously fearing the worst. We then had 4 jetskis out looking for them. After another 30mins, they too returned with a shrug…
Taking matters into our own hands, we called the Thai police (which were so helpful). While on the phone to the police requesting assistance, one of our friends that was still out there called us and told us that they had washed up on a beach and that they were okay. After cancelling the police response and receiving the GPS location from our friends, the tour guides were able to go find them and tow them back to the launching point.
What had happened was that after their jetski cut out, they were able to limp it ( Max 5km/h) to the nearest shore on the main island, but still far away from the launching point.
We estimate that it took over an hour and a half for them to get it to shore. Again, all while this time it was completely dark.
With only 2 tour guides on a single jet ski for a group of 18 people, they were unaware when – via
We had the worst experience with this tour company. We had a group of 14 book a jet ski tour and payed good money to then be left in the middle of the ocean for 30 minutes while the guides left because our friends jet ski died within the first 20 minutes of our trip and got left behind. From there they dumped us on an island while our friends were still missing and once they were finally able to get our friends on a working jet ski they rushed us off the island to go back. We tried to stick together and make sure no one got left behind but the guides pressured us to keep moving, not looking back to make sure everyone was okay. As a result two of our friends got stranded at sea because their jet ski stopped working (a different one this time), they spent 3 hours drifting in the water while it got dark. Once back on shore we realised they were missing and tried to get the guides to go looking for them, they refused to use the 7 jet skis on the beach and only sent 1 person. For what was supposed to be a fun adventure, this turned out to be a dangerous and traumatic experience. I would highly reccomend you go elsewhere. The company and the guides they contract took zero responsibility for their duty of care. 0 stars. – via
We booked a 2 hour sunset jet ski tour for 14 pax. Unfortunately we had a very disappointing experience. The two tour guides (on same jet ski) had no safety measures in place. As soon as we took off, our jet ski broke down and we were stuck in the ocean for 20 minutes with the tour guides at the front not even noticing we had fallen behind the group. When then finally noticed, they gave us another jet ski which after 5 minutes broke down. Again, the tour guides and group continued the trip and left us behind. We we stuck for another 30 minutes before they came back for us!! After the tour, one of our friends jet skis didn’t return. The tour guides AGAIN didn’t seem to notice until we said so. They sent 3 jet skis out looking for them before coming back and saying they were nowhere to be found. By now it was dark and we couldn’t see out into the ocean – not to mention there were no lights on the jet skis. After an hour, we found our friends on a shore nearby because their jet ski broke down. It was a frightening experience and we didn’t feel safe at all. The staff were not helpful, taking no responsibility at all. They said the broken jet skis ‘were another company’s’ so it wasn’t their fault. We spoke with Asia Blue the next morning, they also took no responsibility and said they would ‘call the other company’ yet we didn’t hear anything from them. We paid a decent amount of money for this experience. They would not refund our or my friends broken jet ski. We will never be booking through Asia Blue again and will making sure none of our family or friends do either! So disappointing!! – via
